Dwelling in Maine Real Estate

Based out of Camden, Maine and serving clients in the Midcoast, Knox and Waldo Counties.

Michelle and her husband (and their two youngest kids) moved to Camden five years ago to purchase and run the Blue Harbor House Inn bed & breakfast. Michelle has a passion for sharing Midcoast Maine with her inn guests, often curating unique itineraries to enhance their stays. Her concierge level service earned the inn a Down East Magazine’s “Best of Maine” B&B 2023 finalist award.

Michelle brings that same level of attention to her real estate clients. Many dream of moving to Midcoast Maine, and Michelle loves helping them find the perfect place to call home. She's also thrilled to share her B&B expertise for those looking to purchase their own Maine B&B.

Before moving to Maine, Michelle and her family left Austin, Texas to live aboard their 42’ Sailing Catamaran for three years. Their sailing adventures took them across the Gulf of Mexico to the Florida Keys, The Bahamas, and up and down the East Coast. In 2018, they decided to sell the boat and buy an inn. It only took one visit to Camden, and they were sold.

It wasn’t long before their two adult children decided to move to Midcoast Maine and join them. Michelle loved helping them find their perfect home in South Thomaston with views of the St. George River.

In addition to being an innkeeper and real estate agent, Michelle also owns a small apartment building where she houses seasonal staff for the local inns and restaurants in the summer, and traveling nurses or families moving to the area in the winter. Michelle also serves on the Board of Directors of the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Michelle embraces all that the coast of Maine has to offer. Her favorite things about living here:

  • When the leaves change in early October.
  • The summer temperatures in the 70s and low 80s.
  • The award-winning chefs & restaurants. Midcoast Maine is for foodies.
  • The water views around every corner.
  • And the stars at night!
